![]() ![]() ![]() Usually, on other maps I would have doubts on if it was a bass as well as I've caught bowfin on the bass jig twice since I've been playing and have caught other fish on bait and lures they usually won't go after. My guess would be you hooked into a bowfin. ![]() Originally posted by Maj.Tryhard:Occasionally, something other than a bass will hit a bass jig. Not sure if I can go to florida for 4lb bass just to get it out of the way. ![]() Now wondering if I should go back to NC and try it again as the 4lb is the last part of the mission to complete. I just know it didn't have the ratio to do lift and drops properly (not enough pull to get lure off the bottom properly to go past 1 dot) and was using stop and go retrieves. It isn't the first time I lost a fish to the lag on lures, but the first where I had put so much effort into it especially with putting so much effort into getting it ashore.Īs to rod and reel, can't say until I go back into game as I cobbled something together for the mission as the rod and reel usually use was "too heavy duty" to use on the mission. And after fighting it for so long, and successfully keeping it from ripping the line out, snapping it, and adjusting for "charges" to shake the lure having that happen is just like a slap to the face. But, can't do that properly when the "screen freezes" for a second. Right before it lagged, the fish (whatever it was) had turned towards me and the tension was going down which meant I had to adjust to keep tension on. And I know it was lag as the screen "froze for a second" then came back completely clean with no fish. Should it be that way? No, many would argue it shouldnt. Im pretty sure that isnt a "lag" and just how the game is programed. I've had those things happen to me in Florida fishing for bass as well as Michigan with pikes.
